Atlanta, Georgia: The Greater Atlanta Telangana Society (GATeS) hosted a vibrant and inspiring Back-to-School Bash on August 3, 2025, bringing together students, parents, and community members for a day filled with celebration, learning, and motivation. The event, held in partnership with Think Tales Academy, was designed to enrich young minds and prepare them for a successful academic year ahead.
A key highlight of the event was the Youth Enrichment and Learning Style Discovery Workshop, where students explored their unique learning styles and participated in sessions aimed at building strong study skills and habits for academic success.
The event also featured an impactful Student Panel Discussion, with outstanding students from elementary, middle, high school, and college sharing their experiences and offering valuable tips to their peers. This inspiring panel created a space for open conversation and mentorship across age groups.
Parents were actively involved throughout the day, attending sessions and supporting their children, while gaining insights into how to assist in their academic journeys. Their presence and encouragement were a vital part of the event’s success. In true celebratory fashion, the bash concluded with a Back-to-School Cake Cutting Ceremony, symbolizing a sweet start to the academic year ahead.
Laughter, cheers, and warm community spirit filled the venue as families came together to mark this special occasion. Special thanks to Ravinder Dasarapu garu for bringing forward the ideas for the After School Bash and Back-to-School Bash Youth Enrichment programs. His vision and initiative played a central role in shaping this impactful event.
A sincere thanks also goes to Think Tales Academy for their thoughtful planning and delivery of the academic enrichment activities. Their partnership was instrumental in making the event both meaningful and memorable. With active participation from students across all levels—elementary, middle, high school, and college.
This Back-to-School Bash was not just a celebration, but a launchpad for academic confidence, community bonding, and future success. GATeS extends heartfelt gratitude to all the families who attended, as well as to the GATeS Executive team, Board of Directors, youth committee members, and volunteers for their tireless efforts in ensuring the event was smoothly executed.
